A Journey to Joy and Peace
The Treasure of Wisdom
(A Poem on Proverbs 2:1–11)
If you seek wisdom, come draw near,
God’s truth will guide, His voice is clear.
Store His commands within your heart,
For wisdom’s path is where you’ll start.
Cry aloud for insight, call for grace,
Search for treasure in wisdom’s embrace.
Like silver hidden in the earth’s deep fold,
Wisdom shines brighter than refined gold.
Revere the Lord, the wise begin,
For awe of Him guards the soul from sin.
He grants the knowledge that lights our way,
And shields the faithful each passing day.
Wisdom enters the heart that’s true,
Its joy transforms, its peace renews.
Discretion stands as a watchful friend,
Understanding guards till the journey’s end.
Yet wisdom is both a gift and a prize,
A treasure unseen by careless eyes.
God freely gives, yet we must strive,
To dig, to search, to keep it alive.
So teachable hearts will find their gain,
Through humble trust, through prayerful strain.
With every step, His truth unfolds,
A treasure more precious than earth’s finest gold.
Walk the path of wisdom’s light,
Through storm and shadow, day and night.
God’s wisdom leads, it will not cease—
From folly’s chaos to perfect peace.
