The Rewards of Wisdom

Wisdom, Discipline, and Divine Design

                The Path of Wisdom

A Poem Inspired by Proverbs 3:11-20

When trials come and burdens weigh,

Do not despise the Father’s way.

For love corrects, though sharp it seems,

Like rivers carve the mountain streams.

His hand refines, His truth reveals,

The wounds He gives are wounds that heal.

A father’s love will guide, not break,

To shape our souls for wisdom’s sake.

More precious far than gems or gold,

A heart made wise, a spirit bold.

For wisdom’s path is peace and light,

A beacon shining through the night.

She is a tree of life so strong,

Her branches wide, her roots deep long.

For those who take and hold her fast,

Will find a joy that’s sure to last.

The earth was formed by wisdom’s hand,

The heavens set at His command.

The stars still shine, the waters flow,

By knowledge deep that God bestows.

So walk in trust, embrace His ways,

Through darkened nights and brightest days.

For though the world may shift and sway,

His wisdom leads, His truth will stay.

Hold fast, O soul, through joy or strife,

For wisdom’s path is eternal life.
