A Reflection on Proverbs 3:1-10
Amidst the noise, so loud, so deep,
A voice still calls, though whispers sweep.
Not in the thunder, nor rushing tide,
But in the quiet, He walks beside.
Forget not, child, My words so true,
Let wisdom’s light be stored in you.
For peace shall guard, like morning’s glow,
And love shall lead where rivers flow.
Trust not the mind that shifts like sand,
But hold My truth with steadfast hand.
Lean not upon your fleeting sight,
But trust in Me—I am your light.
In all your ways, acknowledge Me,
And straight your wandering path shall be.
Not wisdom born of earthly pride,
But fear of God, your faithful guide.
Honor Me with gifts of grace,
And I shall fill your empty place.
The hands that open, hearts that yield,
Will see My harvest fill their field.
So hush the world, be still, be near,
And in the silence, you will hear—
A whisper soft, yet strong and wise,
The voice of love that never lies.
